Question 1

What is Evra and how does it work?

Accepted Answer

Evra is an online corporate event marketplace in Ireland. Companies use Evra to discover, compare, and instantly book pre-vetted venues, catering, entertainment, and team-building suppliers in one centralized platform with transparent pricing and streamlined billing.

Question 2

Is Evra free to use for companies?

Accepted Answer

Yes, creating an Evra account and browsing event suppliers is 100% free. There are no monthly subscription fees, and you don't need a credit card to sign up. Pricing is displayed transparently upfront, and any applicable booking fees are clearly shown before you confirm a booking.

Question 3

Is booking through Evra more expensive than booking directly?

Accepted Answer

No. Evra maintains a direct price-match commitment. All venues and suppliers on Evra agree to offer the same rates as their direct bookings, ensuring companies never pay an inflated markup.

Question 4

Is Evra faster than traditional corporate event sourcing?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Evra reduces venue and vendor booking time from days to minutes. By removing cold emails, chasing pricing, checking vendor insurance, and onboarding individual accounts payable details, you can book everything from an office barista to a team-building activity in under 90 seconds.

Question 5

How do payments and invoicing work on Evra?

Accepted Answer

Payments are consolidated directly through Evra via credit card or company invoice facility. This provides your finance team with a single invoicing process, cancellation support, and buyer protection. For qualifying large-scale venue contracts, we can also facilitate direct payment to the venue while keeping the booking managed inside Evra.

Question 6

Are all venues and event suppliers on Evra pre-vetted?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We vet every venue, caterer, and activity provider before listing. Evra verifies corporate suitability, service quality, and insurance standards to eliminate supplier risk for office managers and event planners.

Question 7

How does Evra compare to a traditional corporate event agency?

Accepted Answer

Evra eliminates the standard 30% to 40% agency fee markup. Instead of paying an intermediary to manage communications, companies use Evra’s self-serve software to book suppliers directly at venue-direct rates, saving thousands on annual event budgets.
