EVRA
Cookie Policy
Effective date: 8 September 2026 · Last updated: 8 September 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Security Bookers Limited trading as EVRA (“EVRA”, “we”, “us” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on www.evra.ie and the EVRA platform. It should be read together with the EVRA Privacy Policy.
2. Who is responsible for cookies on EVRA?
EVRA is operated by Security Bookers Limited trading as EVRA, 3/4 Pembroke Street, Dublin 2, Ireland.
For cookies and related personal-data processing for which EVRA determines the purposes and means, EVRA is the data controller. Some third-party providers may also act as independent controllers for their own processing, as described in their applicable privacy information.
3. Why EVRA uses cookies
EVRA may use cookies to operate and secure the Platform; keep users signed in; remember settings and preferences; support booking and checkout functionality; understand how the website and Platform are used; measure and improve performance; diagnose technical problems; and, where consent has been given, measure marketing or advertising effectiveness.
5. Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are required to provide a service or functionality explicitly requested by the user or to carry out communications over a network. They may support login sessions, authentication, security, fraud prevention, load balancing, checkout or other essential Platform functions.
Where the applicable ePrivacy exemption applies, EVRA may use strictly necessary cookies without requesting consent. These cookies should not be used for unrelated analytics, profiling or advertising purposes.
6. Functional and preference cookies
These cookies may remember choices such as interface preferences or other settings that improve the user's experience.
Where a functional cookie is not strictly necessary for a service explicitly requested by the user, EVRA will obtain consent before setting or accessing it where required by law.
7. Analytics and performance cookies
Analytics cookies help EVRA understand matters such as visitor numbers, pages viewed, navigation patterns, feature usage and website performance so that EVRA can improve the Platform.
EVRA will obtain consent before using analytics cookies or similar analytics technologies where required by Irish ePrivacy law. Analytics cookies must remain disabled until the user has given the required consent.
8. Marketing and advertising cookies
EVRA may in future use marketing, advertising, conversion-measurement or retargeting technologies to understand the effectiveness of campaigns or show more relevant advertising.
Such technologies will not be activated before the user has given the required consent. Refusing marketing cookies will not prevent a user from accessing the core EVRA Platform.
9. First-party and third-party cookies
First-party cookies are set by or for EVRA. Third-party cookies or technologies may be set or accessed by external providers whose services are integrated with EVRA, for example analytics, communications, embedded content, security or marketing providers.
EVRA will identify relevant third parties in the live cookie table or preference centre where required. Third-party processing may also be governed by the provider's own privacy information.
11. Changing or withdrawing your consent
Users must be able to change or withdraw cookie consent at any time. EVRA should provide a persistent “Cookie Settings” or equivalent control on www.evra.ie so that users can reopen their preferences.
Withdrawing consent should be as easy as giving it. Withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of processing that took place before consent was withdrawn.
Changing preferences will stop future use of the relevant optional technologies, but cookies already stored on a device may remain until they expire or are deleted unless the consent-management tool removes them.
14. Browser controls
Most browsers allow users to view, block or delete cookies through browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may cause parts of EVRA to stop working correctly.
Browser controls operate separately from EVRA's consent-management tool. Users should normally use EVRA's Cookie Settings control to manage consent for optional cookies used by EVRA.
15. Updates to this Cookie Policy
EVRA may update this Cookie Policy when technologies, providers, legal requirements or Platform functionality change. The latest version will be published on www.evra.ie and the “Last updated” date will be revised.
Material changes to cookie use may also require EVRA to request consent again.
16. Privacy and personal data
Where information collected through cookies or similar technologies constitutes personal data, EVRA processes that data in accordance with the EVRA Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law, including the GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
The Privacy Policy explains purposes and lawful bases for personal-data processing, recipients, international transfers, retention and individual rights.
17. Contact EVRA
Questions about cookies, privacy or EVRA's use of tracking technologies may be sent to Security Bookers Limited trading as EVRA, 3/4 Pembroke Street, Dublin 2, Ireland.
